Vivace Theatre School Vivace Theatre School is based in Glasgow, with a growing network of Link Schools throughout West Central Scotland. Our term time courses offer first class training in Acting, Singing, Dance, Musical Theatre and Early Stages Performance for young people aged 3-18 years. We run exciting school holiday programmes, outreach initiatives and education projects in nursery, primary and secondary schools throughout Scotland and since opening in March 2003, have quickly established a reputation for quality and value. All staff at Vivace Theatre School are qualified professionals with previous teaching experience.

Teaching Higher Drama

This is a one-day overview of the Higher Drama course, suitable for teachers who are new to teaching this course as well as teachers seeking new ideas and insight into the requirements under CfE. The whole syllabus is considered but focus is given to topics that are traditionally considered awkward or difficult including dance drama. Alternative classic texts and newer contemporary Scottish theatre texts will be presented as well as a fresh look at the favourites we all use.
